It takes two third less energy to make products from recycled plastics than to produce new ones through raw materials. When one ton of plastics is recycled, it is equivalent to saving four barrels of oil needed to produce new plastics. In addition, by just recycling 1 ton of plastics we could save a landfill space of up to 7.4 cubic yards. The more plastics we recycle, the less chances that these scrap materials will land in landfills or worst into our oceans.

At Triple C Recyle Sdn. Bhd., we normally differentiate and sort these plastics into 5 different types mainly,

  • Polyethylene terephthalate (PET)
  • High density polyethylene (HDPE)
  • Low density polyethylene (LDPE)
  • Polypropylene (PP)
  • Polystyrene (PS)

Once sorted, we would recycle and process them accordingly. Plastics are often found almost everywhere which ranges from stationeries, vehicles and food packaging.
